We’ve designed our intake process to be straightforward and pressure-free
You’ll hear back from our intake coordinator within 24 hours (usually much sooner). We’ll answer any initial questions and help determine if we’re the right fit for your needs.
Based on your needs, preferences, and schedule, we’ll recommend one or more therapists who would be a good fit. You’re welcome to review their profiles and choose who feels right.
If you’re using insurance, we’ll verify your coverage and let you know what your costs will be upfront. No surprises. If you’re paying out of pocket, we’ll explain our rates clearly.
Once everything is confirmed, you’ll book your first appointment. We’ll send you secure intake paperwork to complete before your session, which typically takes 10-15 minutes.
Your therapist will focus on understanding your concerns, answering questions, and collaboratively developing a treatment plan. There’s no pressure to commit beyond the first session.
Most patients have their current average wait time is 7–10 days of reaching out. If you have urgent needs or specific scheduling requirements, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

We see patients in person at our Upper East Side office and virtually wherever we are licensed to practice. Either way, the goal is the same: real therapy that fits into your life, not the other way around.
