Quality Therapy, More Accessible
Everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care.
At Inzinna Therapy Group, we’re committed to making therapy available to more members of our community. That’s why we offer appointments with carefully selected Doctoral Psychology Interns and Externs who provide therapy under the supervision of our experienced licensed clinicians.
Sessions begin at $65, making this an excellent option for individuals who are paying out of pocket, have out-of-network insurance, or are looking for a more budget-friendly path to care.
Finding the right therapist is an important step toward improving your mental health, and cost shouldn’t stand in the way.
Our interns and externs are completing advanced clinical training and work closely with licensed therapists who provide ongoing supervision, consultation, and guidance throughout the therapeutic process. This collaborative model allows us to offer reduced-fee therapy while maintaining the personalized, evidence-based care Inzinna Therapy Group is known for.
Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning after time away, you’ll receive thoughtful care in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Our interns and externs work with individuals experiencing many of the same concerns treated throughout our practice, including:
Self-esteem and confidence
Family conflict
Emotional regulation
Women’s issues
If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for your specific concerns, you can take our self-assessment or contact our office and our team can help determine the best fit for your needs.
Choosing to work with one of our interns and externs is a chance to receive high-quality care at a lower cost.
Every intern and extern:
Is completing advanced graduate-level clinical training
Provides therapy under the supervision of a licensed clinician
Receives ongoing consultation and case review
Uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches
Is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care
This model is commonly used in psychology and counseling training programs and allows clients to benefit from both a dedicated therapist and the guidance of an experienced supervising clinician.
Your first session is an opportunity to get to know your therapist, discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, and begin developing a plan that’s tailored to your goals. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out, we’ll meet you where you are.
Therapy sessions typically last 45–60 minutes.
Appointments are available in person at our 160 East 89th Street office or through secure telehealth.
Many clients begin with weekly sessions, though your therapist will recommend a schedule based on your goals and clinical needs.
After you contact us, our team will help determine which intern/extern is the right fit and answer any questions before scheduling your first appointment.
Each member of our Interns and Externs team brings unique experience, interests, and therapeutic approaches. Browse our current interns and externs to learn more about their backgrounds and areas of focus.
Taking the first step toward better mental health shouldn’t feel overwhelming, or unaffordable.
If you’re interested in learning more about reduced-fee therapy, our team is here to answer any questions you may have and help you find the right clinician.
